Bihar NMMS 2024-25 Registration Underway at scert.bihar.gov.in; Eligibility Criteria Inside

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Bihar began the application process for the state National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2025 exam. Interested students can register for the Bihar NMMS 2024 examination through the official website of SCERT at scert.bihar.gov.in.

As per the official schedule, the Bihar NMMS 2024 application window will remain active till 1 December. Bihar NMMS 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on 19 January 2025. To be eligible, students must be studying in Class 8 at a recognised government or government-aided school in Bihar and also, the candidate must have secured at least 55% marks (for general category students) or 50% marks (for SC/ST) in Class 7 annual exams. 

The age limit of the candidate should not be older than 13 years as of 1st July of the year in which they are applying. The family income of the candidate's parents should not exceed Rs 1,50,000 per annum from all sources. 

Bihar NMMS 2024-25 Registration: Steps to apply

1. Visit the SCERT Bihar website at scert.bihar.gov.in
2. On the homepage, select the option labelled “NMMSS Online Application Academic Year 2024-25”
3. Proceed to the next page, where you’ll see options for registration and login
4. Fill in the registration form with the required information and submit
5. Log in to the portal with these credentials to continue with the application form
6. Complete and upload the required documents
7. Save and download the application form for further reference
