The Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) orginally scheduled to be held on December 29, 2024 has been postponed by the Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam and will now be held on January 19, 2025. The details of the exam has been updated on the official website madhyamik.assam.gov.in.
Candidates will be issued new admit cards for the exam to be held on January 19. They can download their admit cards from the official website by entering their Application number and password. The admit cards can be downloaded from January 3, 2025.
A total of 9,389 candidates will be recruited through the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test. This includes 8,004 graduate teachers and 1,385 post graduate teachers.
Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called in fo the interview and it would be followed by document verification.
