The National Testing Agency has issued a notification announcing that it will conduct the Recruitment procedure for the position of Examiner of Patents and Designs. The NTA will be conducting an an All India Examination to recruit staff for this position.

The selected candidates will be recruited under the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

A total of 553 candidates will be recruited for the vacancies under DR Quota in the patent office.

Selection Process

The recruitment to the above-mentioned positions will be done completely on the basis of merit in three stages, namely Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and an interview.

The Preliminary examination for the recruitment process will be conducted on December 21, 2023, while the Admit card for the examination will be issued three to four days before the actual date of the examination.

The answer key will be declared by the National Testing Agency candidates can challenge the answer keys from December 26 to December 27.

As per the notification, the result of the Preliminary Examination will be declared by the first week of January 2024.
