What is Event Management

Studying Event Management 

• You need at least 50% aggregate to clear your Class XII board exams in any stream. 
• You can do a bachelor's course or a diploma course in Event Management afterwards.

Job roles with an Event Management degree:

• Event manager: They develop, plan, coordinate and execute a gathering. These managers are in charge of overseeing the entire event from start to finish. Project management and event planning, sourcing and preparing venues, working with talent, creatives, and designers are all common responsibilities of an event manager.

 

• Wedding planner: They assist clients in planning entire weddings or specific wedding activities. It’s their job to look after wedding logistics and vendor contracts. They ensure that wedding-day activities run smoothly.
   
• Stage decorator: They create an event's stage arrangement. Depending on the sort of event, the stage may have a podium and a table. A stage decorator's job entails arranging and installing items on the stage as well as making the stage stand out amid the venue's other decorative features.

 

• Logistics manager: They are in charge of overseeing the movement of equipment, attendees and other event-related items. They also ensure that the organisation's supply chain is efficient and successful. They plan, store and track the distribution of commodities to guarantee that items and resources are delivered to the correct locations.
