The Xaverian Education Society of St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata is all set to celebrate Teacher's Day on the 5th of September, 2023, in the Fr. Depelchin Auditorium of the institute.
The celebration will witness the presence of Rev. Fr. Jayraj Veluswamy, SJ (Rector) Rev. Dr. Dominic Savio, SJ (Principal), Dr. Swati Sarkar (Vice-Principal, Dept. of Education), Rev. Dr. A. Peter Arockiam, SJ (Vice-Principal - Dept. of Management Studies and Dept. of Commerce (Evening)), Rev. Dr. Joseph Kulandai (Vice-Principal - Dept. of Commerce (Morning)), and other faculty members of the Department of Education.
The Xaverian Education Society, one of the most prestigious societies of the college, founded in 2016, has planned an eventful evening to celebrate the teachers of the Department, ones who leave no stone unturned to shape the lives of the students in the best possible way.
The practice sessions for one of the most important calendar events of the society had started in a full-fledged manner for around one month. Every consideration is being made to make the day memorable for the teachers and to let it out in actions, and not just words, about the importance they hold in the lives of all their students.
The Xaverian Education Society aims to keep the inclination of the teacher's preferences in high regard, has decided to weigh the program on the cultural aspect, and has worked to present the faculties with a small token of appreciation post the program.
