The students of St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata, are gearing up for Inception 2023 as the spirit of competition will be buzzing in the air on the 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th of July 2023.
Inception is an event conducted by the Xavier’s Commerce Society, exclusively for the incoming freshmen of the new academic session, to provide them with exhilarating corporate exposure, and various crisis management scenarios as well as introduce them to their college life!
The Xavier’s Commerce Society is the representative body of the Department of Commerce, St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata. With its motto of ‘Dreams. Development. Destiny.’ has always sought to inspire and motivate students to learn critical lessons before they step into the corporate world. The society undertakes to reach for distinction with every initiative it conducts, and seeks to enhance, augment, and advance its capacities with every passing day.
Inception has always revolved around a central theme, and the 2023 edition of Inception is based on the dystopian, retro-futuristic theme of Cyberpunk. Hence the event has been christened aptly as ‘Inception 2023: Trials of Succession’.
With the underlying aim of giving the newly inducted freshers a taste of the corporate world that they will be experiencing for themselves later on in their lives, the thrilling four days of Inception will be jam-packed with challenging rounds which will include Group Discussions, Personal Interviews, Case Study presentations, Simulation Events, Stress Interviews and much more.
With exciting prizes to be won and invaluable corporate exposure for all competing participants, Inception 2023 enjoys the exclusive title of being the best corporate simulation event for first-year students; teaching them the essential skills needed to thrive in this domain, while rewarding them for their dexterity and innovation.
