Sister Nivedita University (SNU) has formed a strategic partnership with Employability.life and Federation University, Australia, to offer innovative experiential learning programs aimed at making students more competent and industry-ready. The induction ceremony for these programs was held at SNU's campus, marking the beginning of a new era in hands-on education.

The event was graced by Prof. Duncan Bentley, Vice-Chancellor and President of Federation University, Australia, who delivered the keynote address. Prof. Bentley emphasized the shifting dynamics of education and the growing need for students to enhance their skills to meet the demands of modern industries.

The Employability.life team, led by Dr. Manish Malhotra, Chairman, along with Mr. Raja Dasgupta, Executive Vice President, and Mr. Anirudh Phadke, Chief Technology Officer, attended the event. Dr. Malhotra provided insights on future opportunities for students, focusing on how they can prepare themselves for upcoming challenges.

The ceremony was also attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr. Sanku Bose, Group CEO of Techno India Group, Prof. (Dr.) Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay, Vice Chancellor of SNU, Dr. Anirban Mitra, Head of the Department of Computer Science at SNU, and Dr. Summauli Pyne, Director for Global Affairs, International Relations & Outreach, Techno India Group.

Prof. Chattopadhyay delivered the welcome address, thanking Employability.life for their efforts in preparing students for the future. He highlighted the importance of such collaborations in equipping students with practical knowledge and skills.

Following the speeches, the induction of the new XPMC students commenced and the "Future of Work Lab" was officially inaugurated. This lab is designed to familiarize students with the course framework and provide them with the tools they need to excel in their careers. The four-hour induction program included introductions, an orientation session, and interactive ice-breaking activities to help students get acquainted with the program and each other.

Dr. Sanku Bose praised the initiative, emphasizing its role in the holistic development of students. Dr. Anirban Mitra quoted Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, saying, "Dream is not that which you see while sleeping; it is something that does not let you sleep," expressing his hope that the "Future of Work" initiative would transform students’ dreams into reality through the collaboration between SNU, Federation University, and Employability.life.

This partnership represents a significant step toward bridging the gap between education and industry, providing students with the practical skills and knowledge required to thrive in today’s competitive job market.
