MEGATRONIX, the official technical club of Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology (MSIT), Kolkata is back with its 11th edition of annual inter-college techno management festival named as “PARIDHI-2023” with 30 inter-college and inter-school events from 31 March to 2 April 2023. After the huge success of the 2-day intra-college fest TechXtra, “PARIDHI 2023” has started today with the wholehearted support by the technical club members aka “Megatrons” under the guidance of the Prof. (Dr.) Tirthankar Datta, Principal of MSIT, Ms. Joysree Das Roy (Dean- Student Affairs), Dr. Biswarup Ganguly (Coordinator of TPCC) and Mr. Saubhik Goswami (Convener of TPCC).
The inauguration has been started by lamp lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest of the programme, Prof. (Dr.) Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay (Vice Chancellor, Sister Nivedita University) followed by Prof. (Dr.) Tirthankar Datta, Principal of MSIT and other dignitaries present on the dais. In the welcome address, Prof. Datta, Principal of MSIT mentioned the importance of enhancement of skill set for budding engineers through these types of events. Prof. (Dr.) Dhrubajyoti Chattopadhyay (Vice Chancellor, Sister Nivedita University) emphasized the importance of innovation and hands-on experience in latest technologies. Prof. (Dr.) R. T. Goswami (Director, TINT), Mr. Digbijoy Chakraborty, MD & CEO of SunEco Tech Ventures Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Partha Sarkar, Regional Head, Academic Interface Programme, East India, TCS, Mr. Saikat Basu, CEO, WinUpSKill, Ms. Ina Bose (Director HR, SNU), Prof. S. K. Bhattacharya (Director, AQA- TIG), Prof. (Dr.) Sudip Dogra, President- IIC of MSIT and many other dignitaries from industry as well as academics graced the occasion.
The 3-day event will be attended by 2000+ students of reputed 55 engineering colleges across India and especially school students from Kolkata for participation in a science competition named “Innovation Blaze”. Paridhi 2023 is enfolded with events across the domains of Electrical, Computer Sciences, Civil, Gaming and Robotics, and many other general events like darts, carrom, chess, table tennis etc. With the huge backing from colossal brand names like Coca Cola as the title sponsor for Paridhi 2023, along with 91.9 Friends FM, Decathlon, TATA Copper Water, and many other unceasing lists of sponsors, this tech fest is on its way to be a grandiose!
