IIM Shillong on Monday, October 30, hosted the 2nd CXO Round Table meet in Mumbai to ‘Reconnect’ with valued industry partners who have placed their trust in the institution since inception. The event brought together a distinguished panel of industry leaders, academicians, and stakeholders for an insightful discussion.
The institute is currently celebrating its 15 years of unwavering commitment to excellence with the theme ‘Reconnect, Reflect, and Reimagine’ and is hosting a series of conclaves across the country starting from New Delhi on October 15, 2023.
The conference was inaugurated by Shri Atul Kulkarni, Member of Board of Governors of IIM Shillong. Speaking at the event, Kulkarni emphasised on the institution’s commitment to reconnecting with industry partners who have placed their trust in IIM Shillong’s educational journey.
He also highlighted several noteworthy initiatives undertaken by the institute in recent years. Emphasising on the global recognition these initiatives have garnered, he mentioned that IIM Shillong was one of only three management institutions to participate in the prestigious Vaibhav Summit, a special initiative led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
At the conference, industry leaders, alumni, and academicians noted the emergence of the latest concepts in industries, which they said should be integrated into the curriculum of the top management schools to prepare students for the future.
The CXO Round Table Meet provided a unique platform for knowledge exchange and networking, allowing leaders from different domains to connect, share insights, and collaborate on the challenges and opportunities posed by the digital era.
