The Heritage School, Kolkata, organised Alaap, the primary school fun fest on 20th July. The fest was inaugurated by Ms. Madhumita Chattopadhyay, the former Vice president of ABP and Editor of Sananda Magazine as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honour for the event was Ms. Priya Arora, an author and a spiritual; enthusiast who recently wrote her own book ‘Rama, A Man for all Ages’.

During the inaugural session, Ms. Madhumita spoke about the various qualities the children should learn apart from books and regular studies. She congratulated the management of The Heritage School for organising such an event which can inspire the young children of classes two, three and four.

Ms. Priya Arora spoke about her own book which can be read by children as well to know the basic qualities of Rama as a central part of Ramayana. Such knowledge would enlighten each and every individual spiritually.

School from various parts of the city like  Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan, Birla High School, Delhi Public School, Ruby Park, Garden High School, Indus Valley World School, La Martiniere School for Boys, Mahadevi Birla World Academy, M.C.Kejriwal Vidyapeeth, Modern High School for Girls, Shri Shikshayatan School, The BSS School and many more participated in this event.

Activities like Mime, Sing Alone, Play with Clay, Paint your Imagination, Spin a Yarn were some of the interesting ones that created fun & frolic among the children. The children performed their best with zeal and enthusiasm.

“This is the right platform where the little ones can excel and I am quite surprised to see the immense potential the children have among them,” said Ms. Seema Sapru, Principal, The Heritage School, Kolkata.

The event witnessed the presence of Smt. Bhawna Agarwal, member, School Management Committee, Shri Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Senior Director- Education, KBT and other faculty and staff members of the School.
