Google Developer Group (GDG Kolkata) in association with Women Techmakers Kolkata (WTM Kolkata) will organise “Dare To Be an Entrepreneur: IWD 2023” on the occasion of International Women’s Day on 11 March, 2023 at RCC Institute of Information Technology.
The event will centre around the occasion of International Women’s Day, where there will be distinguished guests, speakers, and two hundred attendees sharing their stories and journeys of being an entrepreneur and the motivation that drives them towards working in the field of technology. It will be an International Women's Day celebration through an eventful day, discussing the various challenges faced by women in their entrepreneurship journey and some of their projects and experiences around technology.
Google Developer Group Kolkata, also known as GDG Kolkata, is a non-profit independent developer & user group based in the City of Joy- that discuss and share experiences developing applications using Google Developer technologies like Android, Firebase, and many more. The groups organize meetups, hackathons, talks & workshops, introducing developers and non-developers to the Google Developer platform.
International Women’s Day (IWD) is Women Techmakers’ largest annual event campaign where distinguished women from all walks of life come around and talk about technology built by women for women. This year GDG Kolkata, in association with WTM Kolkata, brings in an exciting journey where they will talk about how women can start their journey in entrepreneurship, what challenges they might face, and finally how they can manage their ventures on their own.
