On 9 and 10 August 2024, Emblazon 2024, the literary spectacle, took place at Aditya  Academy Senior Secondary, Dumdum. 'Emblazon' is a commendable initiative taken by Aditya  Academy, that provides budding talents with the opportunity to showcase their creativity through  literature, art, and culture, in the presence of esteemed authors and thought leaders. This year, the event drew participation from around 21 schools, making it an unforgettable experience for all involved. The occasion was graced by the esteemed leaders of the Aditya Group of Schools, including  Sabita Saha, Director, and Kasturi Kejriwal, COO of the Aditya Academy Group of Schools. 

The first day of the festival commenced with a spectacular opening ceremony that set the tone for  the two-day extravaganza. The audience was treated to an exquisite classical dance performance by  the talented students of Aditya Academy. The chief guest, Sohini Sengupta, a celebrated actor from  the renowned theatre group Nandikar, was warmly welcomed. In her eloquent address, Mrs. Sengupta spoke passionately about the significance of nurturing hobbies, living with minimal regrets,  and fostering meaningful connections. Her speech was a poignant reminder of the joy found in  shared experiences and the simple pleasures of life. Additionally, her profound commitment to  animal welfare, particularly the protection of zoo animals, was evident as she shared her dedication  to their well-being.

The festival continued with the honouring of the judges and moderators who  were to oversee the various competitions. The day was filled with a diverse array of engaging  activities, from debates and graphic art competitions to duet singing, quizzes, slogan writing, and a vibrant fashion show. Each event was marked by a high level of enthusiasm and competition, with  participants striving to deliver their very best.

The following day began with another dazzling performance by Aditya Academy’s students, further  energising the atmosphere. The Guest of Honour, Somnath Kutty, Secretary at Kalamandalam  Calcutta, was warmly felicitated, adding a touch of prestige to the proceedings. The day's events  were packed with an impressive range of activities, including elocution, spelling competitions, fancy  dress, duet dancing, monologue performances, and film-making. Each event was meticulously  judged by experts in their respective fields, ensuring a high standard of evaluation. 

As Emblazon 2024 drew to a close, the much-anticipated prize distribution ceremony took place,  celebrating the exceptional talents displayed across various categories. The atmosphere was charged  with a palpable sense of achievement and camaraderie. Beyond providing a platform for showcasing  talent, the fest fostered lasting connections and created cherished memories. The session was both  enlightening and engaging, and as the name 'Emblazon' suggests, the literary fest of Aditya Academy  left a conspicuous impression on all who attended.
