Celebration of "Meri Mati Mera Desh" Campaign at Bhavan's Gangabaux Kanoriya Vidya Mandir

To commemorate and express heartfelt gratitude towards the many unsung National and Local Heroes of our nation young saplings were planted around the school field by the dignitaries of the school

In the midst of the ongoing reverberations of Amrit Mahotsav in the country; Amrit Kalash Yatras under the "Meri Mati Mera Desh" campaign is the finale programme of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav commemoration. It envisages paying tributes to all those Veers and Viranganas who have made supreme sacrifices for the country.

In order to pay homage to the spirit of valor and sacrifice of our veers who turned the dreams of our freedom and progress into reality, the students, teachers, and staff of Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir started their day by taking, the "Panch Pran Pledge" in the morning assembly. This was followed by the "Mitti Anthem" created by the Ministry of Culture of India.

The Assembly was addressed by the Principal, Mr. Arun Kumar Dasgupta who reawakened the spirit of patriotism among the students by reminding them about how our freedom or independence was earned by our great freedom fighters with their sacrifices and pain.

So as future generations of our country, the students need to fulfill their duties as citizens. Later in the day, the students paid tribute to the National heroes through various like singing patriotic songs, narration of poems, essay writings, and paintings. In order to commemorate and express heartfelt gratitude towards the many unsung National and Local Heroes of our nation young saplings were planted around the school field by the dignitaries of the school.
