The department of Chemistry at Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University Kolkata, on October 12, organised an exhilarating Science Quiz competition and Exhibition Program called 'Q'RIOSITY. Schools from across West Bengal participated at the event which celebrated knowledge and curiosity.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Saumya Dasgupta, the Deputy Director of the Amity Institute of Applied Sciences.
While the registration process for ‘Q’RIOSITY was overseen by Dr Chirantan Kar. Following the preliminary round, eight teams were selected for the final round.
Eight schools, comprising 33 students and one accompanying teacher participated in the event. The main event, consisting of the quiz rounds commenced at 11.30 am and concluded at 2 pm, which was followed by lunch.
In the post-lunch session, students were exposed to captivating live chemistry experiments. The event culminated with a prize distribution ceremony, acknowledging the remarkable achievements of three outstanding teams.
