The campus of Amity University, Kolkata witnessed a celebration like never before with the grandeur of Amiphoria 2024. The spectacular event was organised from February 28 to March 1, surpassing all expectations.
As the curtains rose on this grand spectacle, Prof (Dr) Sanjay Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Kolkata showered his heartfelt greetings, paving the way for an unforgettable experience.
The event witnessed the participation of over 2000 students from more than 75 colleges and universities and over 8000 footfalls as the students showcased their varied talents and the spirit of Amity University.
The excitement reached its zenith with 'Taal se Taal', an inter-college dance competition that had everyone on their feet. The contest which witnessed spectacular performances by students, was judged by distinguished Kathak dancer Ankita Roy.
Amiphoria's theatrical extravaganza, 'Natyaspia' witnessed brilliant acts from participants across the country with the home team emerging victorious.
The spotlight shone brightly on 'Reincarnation' the most anticipated fashion show of the season. A mesmerizing blend of past and present styles, symbolizing the rebirth of fashion trends, left the audience in awe.
Amiphoria was not just an event, it was a celebration of excellence. From Pocket Films to Trace Quest, Goalmania to The Laughter Pot and various sports contests, each competition showcased the incredible talent and spirit of the participants.
Dance Pe Dance, Rockmania, Photophoria, Unplugged, Cine Strom, The Green Canvas, Innovation, Turncoat and more, provided a platform for young minds to showcase creativity and innovative ideas.
DJ Oly Esse's beats turned the campus into a pulsating epicenter of music and rhythm during The Cactus Night, leaving an indelible imprint on every soul present.
The final day of Amiphoria came live with the magical performance by Aastha Gill leaving everyone spellbound.
Renowned personalities like Prerna Das, Ms Pritha Chakraborty, MasterChef Priyanka Kundu, Anupam Chatterjee, Designer Soumen Ghosh, and Designer Dr Arijit Neogy provided valuable feedback to participants, fostering a spirit of learning and collaboration.
