The 2023 saw a record-of-sorts being set in the arena of law entrance examinations. Nagpur boy Abhinav Somani bagged AIR 1 in both the CLAT and AILET Exams, making history. Born into a family of doctors, Abhinav actually chose to not follow in their footsteps. In this video, he talks to Edugraph about his Law entrance preparation strategy. Also, he shares his top 3 tips for success.

CLAT and AILET are both popular law entrance examinations in India among law aspirants. AILET is an national-level law entrance exam that is held by National Law University Delhi (NLUD) every year to enroll candidates to the B.A.LL.B. (Hons)/LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes at the National Law University (NLU), Delhi. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is another national-level law entrance examination that is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). It is used to determine the eligibility of candidates for BA LLB, BBA LLB, BCom LLB, BSc LLB, BSw LLB, and LLM courses at any of the 22 NLUs across the country, except the National Law University Delhi.

Comparing the number of applicants per seat, it is considered that the difficulty level of the AILET exam is greater than the CLAT exam. However, both these exams offer lucrative opportunities to candidates to get admission to prominent law colleges and universities across the country.
